Joliet killer Nathaniel Hill was found guilty on June 24, 2022, following a jury trial before Judge Rippy. Reply JOLIET —On Monday, Nathaniel Hill, 44, of Joliet, was sentenced by Will County Judge Daniel Rippy to 80 years in prison for the 2020 deadly shooting murder of Derrick Williams-Scott on Joliet's east side. Hill, a convicted felon, received 75 years for first-degree murder and five more years for unlawful use of a weapon by a felon. Hill was found guilty on June 24, 2022, following a jury trial before Judge Rippy.
